Yo Man!

Everything thing is Yo !!!

Yo mummy...will do this...Yo, I need this! Yo...dad...this is kwel...😊

Welcome to the new lingo world, picked it up from my elder brother. Also, now I am photo bombing all my family pictures with a Yo shot!

I enjoy saying Yo instead of yes since its more kwel sounding. And I think everything else sounds very "Rubbish".

My parents are amused, caught them with a smile on their face when I chatter away! But yo they share my enthusiasm when I rock n roll. I have my on little rap with "Yo & Mamma Miaa".

A hilarious little fellow I am and keep checking with my mom..." That was funny n, you think I am really funny". Not sure if mom laughing at my jokes or at my conversation, but Yo...she laughed !

Dance to My Tunes

Music is Life!

I hummm as I walk...I don't talk...I sing..."Mummmiiieee". My actions are musical. ..my conversation is like a song.."Papa looook..." or " Pleaseee mummy" 😊

So my boy likes music ...all kids do I assume...but a nursery rhyme by a 5 year old is far more entertaining when sung while at work...the words are a little jumbled, the tune a bit haywire but the enthusiasm over the top.

He croons Bollywood songs & hymns with same happiness. Likes being updated on the songs though... so favourites change every month.

His actions coordinate with the song...so if on the way for a wash..its banno tera swagger..if it's changing clothes...its mei superman...if it's calling out to me. .. its hello hello...I end up giggling on all this silliness.

He likes it if I put him to sleep with a song; so I have this old Bollywood hit song.."phoolon ka taaron ka" with my remix version from him..it delights him when I sing this for him.

He totally entertains with his lovely voice with mismatched words😊

He shares his new rhymes with me, so a good night hymn prasing the Lord or thanking him for all the wonderful things around is a must before we sleep.

He makes up his live jigs also..with Hindi English mixed and calls himself Michael Jackson!!!

Tennis a Developing Passion

Pursuing a sport teaches you more than what studying a book can. When you sweat it out in a field you learn to compete in a fair manner, without any biases.

My son, started playing tennis at a young age.He was introduced to the game at the age of 4 by an over enthusiastic father. Now both father and son religiously discuss grand slams and I am obviously not included in those conversations much to my dismay!

But, thanks to this our child has developed innumerable qualities which, he otherwise may not have picked.

Tennis has bought focus in his approach, teaching him to concentrate. It has built his confidence and inculcated a desire to win & excel. He looks forward to the schedule and drill associated with it, thereby respecting the teaching of his coaches. He has become active and enjoys exercises. Competition's excite him and he strives to win.

He knows all the current tennis players with their rankings and conversations vary from the players back hand style to their serve style!

He has also built a strong circle of friends which include people in the age group of 30 - 50 years who cheer for him everytime he plays. These friends are my husband 's tennis partners and my little one is their ball boy on non play days.

He loves his tennis racquet and shoes and dresses up like daddy on court.

I really appreciate my husband for introducing our child to the "The Game of Tennis!"
